Elton John Foundation AIDS
Is an international organisation that help to alleviate the physical, emotional and those children that suffer and living with HIV/AIDS.
Established by Elton John and his sister in the UK in 1993. In the course of the time it was modeled to look people affected by HIV/ AIDS, that suffering needs in UK. The organisation
has extended the scope of its work, and now funds in senentenn countries over four continents
This is a proud record of championing innovative programmes, where including helping to spearhead of HIV/AIDS treatment and care. Besides the paediatric antiretroviral treatment, one of the first grant makers in the world to acknowledge the needs of men, who have sex with men (MSM) in countries where homosexuality is still illegal and supporting needle exchange.

PERÚ (Cordillera Blanca)
It is a challenge for the pursuit of mountaineering, with altitudes from 5.495 to 6.795 meters. These place have technical levels from very easy to extremly difficult, one of the principal reason to be there, because is a place for everyone. However all climbing here is a high altitude, so anyperson requires technical knowledge. Besides the usual trekking equipment is a rope, ice axe, ice stakes or screws.
The trekkers generally don´t experience anything more soroche, but at highher altitudes serious complications can occur, like:
- Edema pulmonar; when the lungs begin to fill with fluid, and the symptons include a dry, cought, a ratting sound, and tightnees in the chest.
- Cerebral Edema; when loss cordination, incoherent speech, confusion and loss the energy. The only cure is a descent immediate.
Here the abstract concept of forever seems to become tangible, and the climber encounters a series of gentle inclines. This is an adventure unforgettable for the climbers or chancy and extreme people.

Pies descalzos Foundation

In 1995 Shakira marked her first international success with the album Pies Descalzos (Bare Feet). At this time, she decided to create a Foundation by the same name to help poor and homeless children who had inadequate nutrition and no access to educational services. Her parents, Nidia Ripoll de Mebarak and William Mebarak, headed the Foundation in the early years, working specifically in various activities in the city of Barranquilla.
In 2003, Shakira asked former Minister of Foreign Relations and Minister of Education María Emma Mejía to preside over the Foundation and to extend the work to other areas of the country. That same year, the first Pies Descalzos school was built in Quibdó, a city along the Colombian Pacific coast where forced displacement figures are around 35%.The school currently provides educational services for 750 boys and girls, employing 26 municipal teachers who have undergone training to improve their professional skills. There is a youth development center which assists a population of 240 juveniles and 120 heads of households, teaching them dressmaking, ecotourism and arts and crafts. The benefits are felt in the nearby La Victoria community and surrounding neighborhoods, with positive results for the nearly 7,000 residents.
In 2004, Shakira and the Pies Descalzos Foundation turned their to Barranquilla, Shakira’s hometown, building two new neighborhood schools at Las Américas and Siete de Abril, two of the poorest neighborhoods in the Caribbean city. To date, our work has concentrated on Escuela 202 school, with 680 children.
That same year, Pies Descalzos extended its activities to Soacha, a suburb on the outskirts of Bogotá which, according to the Colombian government’s Social Action agency, has one of the highest rates of incoming victims of displacement. The work began at Escuela Gabriel García Márquez and Escuela El Minuto schools in the Altos de Cazucá neighborhood, providing opportunities for another 1,300 children.
During 2005 and 2006, the Foundation concentrated its efforts on a more comprehensive project which would work not only with the schools, but also with the communities. Project “Open School Doors” allows students and young people to participate in various activities, including Movies Under the Stars (Cine en las Estrellas), Project Baton (Programa Batuta), Youth Programs and Literacy Programs. This innovative methodology involves children and parents and is complemented with income-generating programs that make the project sustainable in the long run.
In 2007 we concentrated all our efforts, as well as the efforts of our donors, on improving the quality of the education provided, by choosing an innovative pedagogical model for each of our schools. Additionally, 2007 was a year during which we were able to solidify the income-generating initiatives though parent cooperatives, which have so far created 250 new jobs.
The Foundation is facing its biggest challenge yet during 2007 and 2008: with the help of public, private and multilateral organizations and financial contributions by Shakira and other donors, we plan to build another Fundación Pies Descalzos school in the Corregimiento La Playa district in Barranquilla. The new school will expand the academic and community programs, reaching out to more than 21,000 residents in the region.
Currently, the Pies Descalzos Foundation programs are assisting 4,020 children and adolescents in our schools and vocational centers.

MI SANGRE FOUNDATION

Mi Sangre is a foundtion that Juanes started a few years ago. People who works in the foundation want to help Columbian children who have been injured by antipersonnel mines.
Tatiana Sánchez Tirado is the fundation's director. She said that Juanes is worried because many children are not received medical attention especially in the rural areas. Mi Sangre foundation works for the social integration of the victims of antipersonnel mines.
Latin rock's leading social activist Juanes has organized the "Colombia sin Minas" ("Colombia Without Mines") benefit concert. Set to take place May 24th at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles, the "Colombia sin Minas" concert will be a special night of all acoustic music with ALEJANDRO SANZ, ANA GABRIEL, CARLOS VIVES, JUAN LUIS GUERRA, LAURA PAUSINI, LUIS FONSI, RICARDO MONTANER and JUANES.
In the last 15 years 4,500 people in Colombia have died as a result of stepping on anti-personal mines and many of these victims have been children from the countryside. The explosions of these mines also permanently disable over 1000 additional people per year.
Juanes did a collection of t- shirts for the fundation. The t-shirt was called "Siembro Paz". Last year Juanes presented the foundation to the minister of culture in Spain.
LEYMEBAMBA IN PERU

Carlos Ardila Lulle was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia in 1931. He studied engineering. He is founder of Ardila Lulle organization. This group is the master of some colombian companies like RCN tv. He created Postobon.
His organization has many companies. Ardila Lulle organization has 80 colombian companies. It works in different areas of production in Colombia:
In comunication: This group has RCN TV, RCN entertaiment and RCN radio.
In other areas it has different companies like Incauca, Coltejer, Coltefinanciera S.A., Los Coches S.A.
Carlos Ardila Lulle has been renowned like latinoamerican with much money.

Her parents were politicians of Peru. He began hm polotic life in 1985.
Actually he is the president of San Ignacio de Loyola university. He created some institute for education like San Ignacio de Loyola institute in 1983, San Ignacio de Recalde school in 1985, San Ignacio de Loyola university in 1990.
He was member of Parliament in 1990. He was an international bussineesman, tourism, and industry minister.
Juan Manuel del Mar is other bussinessman in Peru. He is politician and bussinessman who was born in Peru in 1959. He is married to the journalist Marisol Garcia and they have three children
He studied economy in San Martin de Porres university. He studied administration too. His grandfather was a politician of Peru.

ANIMAL EXTINCTION

The blue whale, or giant blue whales is the largest animal. The female is usually larger than the male, because they can reach despite 84 to 150 tonnes have no teeth and are replaced by other structures called beards or whales. They eat plankton, fish and small crustaceans called krill, "hence, we regard them as omnivores. It is subject to special protection by the International Whaling Commission () 1960, is still considered in danger of extinction, being the subject of an intense hunt to get its oil and parts of the jaw that are useful to the industry.

The best way to examine the characteristics of a coffee is catarlo, in other words, prove their operation.
To examine a cafe there are three steps.
1. Visual Insights: Different varieties of coffee, has some specific characteristics of color or appearance.
2. Features smell. Aromas: A specialist can reach 4,000 to distinguish different odors, that power is acquired through practice.
2.1 The constitute its fragance. The fragrances coffee can be floral, fruity, vegetables.
2.2 The that gives rise to aroma. The aromas of coffee, we can classify them in nuts, acaramelados, achocolatados, jara bes and cereals.
2.3 Feeling remaining in the mouth after trying infusion.
3. Features taste. Flavors: The sense of taste is a combination of coffee, which professional tasters have subdivided into six primary flavors: Acidoso, Meloso, Vinoso, Blando, and Mordaz.

From the beginning, Panamericana Television was defined as leader of the Peruana television.
Later in 1965, Pan American moves from 13 to Channel 5, as head of a national chain of 60 television stations throughout Peru.
In 1969, the era of satellite transmissions reaches Peru with the live broadcast of the arrival of man to the moon. That same year PANAMERICANA transmitting live for the first time from Buenos Aires classification of the Peruvian Football Selection to the World Cup 1970.
In December 2000 the Government of Dr. Paniagua meets return Channel 13 to its rightful owner.

Profile Luisa
I was born Colombia (Bogotá) and I live with my mother and my sister. My father live in Medellín, but sometimes he comes to invites us to eat or to the cinema, in others things. When I was a child, my parents lived together, of courses in the beginning everything was beautiful, but later, the "happy family" was disappearing. Although I think that is better. Now I feel calm and confortable.
I´m studing Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia, I has been any problems with the career. However I´m very sure that this is that I really want to my life. Because I absolutely love the cinema and the animation.

This band has its beginnings in 1996 in San Sebastian, is a Spanish group his I generate is pop was known in the university and decided to form this group, the guitarist Pablo Benegas, the bear Alvaro Fuentes, the teclista Xabi San Martin, and of the battery Haritz Garde they used to touch songs of alternative rock like diversion before it was united to the group, its vocalista, Amaia Montero.
My favorite food is lasagña because its flavor is very delicious and pleasant, others of the meals which I like are the salads (by its nutrients) and like good paisa, bendeja paisa (she is very rich) facina me the round maize loaf with eggs (mmmm). The food that I do not like is the hot nabos (is disagreeable its flavor) and dogs (they are old meats).

Peru's popular remedies

In Perú they are many types of popular remedies,these remedies are the cure for many people,because the don´t believe in modern medicine.We are going to give some examples about them:*Honey and lemon are used to cure the throat pain.*When you are bitten by an insect,for example a bee,you have to take a couple of leafes,rub them,and then put in the wounded place*When you have a stomach ache you usually drink a cup of pure lemon juice with a little bit of cooking oil,you wait a few seconds and then you drink two glasses of water.*When you have an ear pain you usually put some drops of alcohol in your ear and wait until it takes some effect ,that will calm down the pain and let you sleep better.*When you have a hiccups you have to pull your tongue for aproximatly ten seconds,hold your breath until it disappears*when you have diarrhea you usually drink a small bottle of coke ,but the secret,its in the temperature of the liquid,it mus tbe hot

PROFILE ANGIE
I am Angie Lorena Melo López. I live with my parents and brothers. I am studying Social Comunication. This career is very interesting. I like reading and writing. I am studying here becuase La Sabana university is very good and people are kind. It is an excellent university and the place is very beautiful.
I like listening to music but I have not a favorite musical band because I like songs of different singers or bands, for example I like very much Daniel Powter's song . bad day or Wake Me Up When September Ends, in spanish I like some songs of Sin Animo de Lucro, like "En mis sueños" or "Por Tenerte".
About food , my favorite food are the bandeja paisa, fruit salad and hamburgers. I like eating ice creams and waffles but I have a problem with the food because I am sick and I must give up candies and some foods. I missing sugar!
I hope learn many things and want to be an excellent professional in the future.
