LEYMEBAMBA IN PERU

The Leymebamba museum is located93 km form Chacapoyas.It is an agriculturaland livestock place. Objects found and recoveredin the mausoleum of the “Laguna de Los Condores”are exhibit.At the surroundingsof the Leymebamba there arearchaecological rests from La Congona and La Petaca.

The museum’s design reflects local architectural traditions. In addition to thethree museum halls dedicated to the archaecologicalfinds from the Lagunade los Condores, an ethnographic hall presents the varied lifestyles of the region’s modern inhabitants.This museum is inheritance of Peru.
